Yep, summer did come and it's now gone. What has happened, not much ey?
It was a pretty nice summer. Lots of warm days and sunshine. Indoor desktop job is the way to spend your days. No, the best part of the day is the morning 13KM bicycle ride to the office. Later that day, trip back. Total amount of KM's must have been huge, but i don't count meters, no thanks.

What track was/is the summer anthem 2011, i don't know?
My favorite is: Blu Mar Ten - Five Summers. The whole summer thang is packed into this track. Just listen to it.

Summertime is perfect for the musical experiments, like dumping those new styles and get yourself knee deep between 1997 - 2002 drum&bass and beats. This change has been good since today’s dnb is pretty much full of jump up and dubstep dnb clubby stuff. Have a cup of tea and taste this track, it's good.

From the new dnb releases, my still to be ordered favorite is Bungle's new EP "Memories".

Since it is the beginning of the autumn, it is time to get me rake and windbreaker jacket. Those leaves just keep on dropping. What a better way to sweat yourself than this and of course those Good Looking Records -tunes.

Clean it up

It's been a good week. Now i got the time to clean my turntables. Some of them have collected dust 10 to 15 years. I am talking about the Technics SL-1200 MK2 model.

The cleaning procedure was pretty simple due to the construction of the turntable. I have owned these turntables for years, but i haven't gotten the time to open them up and do extensive research and learn new info about the turntable inner parts. Got to say that one table got some serious shit going on when i opened it up. All kinds of glitter and sugary shit were inside the table. Amazing thing was that it is still working nicely. I think that the previous owner have used this table at bar or club environment. They really get their shit together and start to take better care of their equipment.

The good thing about the SL-1200 models is that they can take heavy hits and dust for long time... and still work properly. I do recommend that you should check your equipment status now and then. Check out this channel at youtube. This dude has excellent info concerning the Technics SL-1200 servicing and repair.

Next I should start practicing my soldering skills. I haven't used this fine skill for a decade. My skills are a bit rusty. Anyway, it is a excellent skill to master, because I should replace few things to my turntables. Soldering skills are required. I don't want to spend too much money for the radio shack service and repair. Previously they have done a fine job servicing my tables, but it has taken way too much time and money. That's why I want to learn to do it myself.

Yeah, the techs cleanup was a nice project to do. Next up, it is the midsummer nights. Oh yeah, it is the Provinssirock weekend. No, I am not there. I think that everyone else is. These things come and go.

Heatwaves

First, I got to enjoy the "Heatwave" that brought +30C to the cold Finnish landscape. That was last week. Now, it is raining again. At least the heatwave can be enjoyed through music.

Summertime, the only place to relax and have good time got to be the country side. Yeah, all that big city rolling is great fun but I like to spend some time in the quietness of the country side. What would be better than go for 20km bicycle ride? Download an excellent drum&bass mixtape to your mp3 portable and just roll. Just like this ->

The land of the midnight sun. Hahah, I must have written about this about a year ago, but... The sun shines all day long. No need to go to sleep at all. At the midsummer the evening or darkness last only about 1-2 hours. The best place to be.

I have been busy with mixtapes and all that stuff. What is wrong with me, nothing out there yet? Well, no need to rush, there is plenty of time and good stuff takes time.

Yep. 4 years of studying media management is now officially over. It took a lot of my spare time to get all those little things in order the graduate. Because of this, I really haven’t got the time do anything else. Now I have the time, but I need to find work. The prospects of finding job are tough, second to none. Well, there are some jobs out there but I really need to dig deep, deep. There is always the possibility to do something else. Enough of that, things do happen.

So, Finland won the ice hockey world championship. When this miraculous event happened I was spinning records at the Still Standing culture club. The place was packed, as always. It was my comeback gig because I haven't done any gigs during 5 month period. It was nice to hear that tunes were excellent for the hockey game. During the intermediate times, I rocked the boat with liquid drum&bass and chilly house and nu-disco. Aah, it was crazy night.

Cheeze, I have been working with my new mixtape. Let's see how it turns out, but the main thing is that the mix is packed with nice and chilly dnb tunes. It is all about the feeling. Looking forward to get it out, it should be ready soon.

Looks like that the summer is coming fast. I am still waiting for the ultimate summer anthem of the 2011. If it isn’t any good, I can stick with the oldies.

My neck is killing me softly.
Last night, the Fixsaatio event served good dubstep and dnb sounds. Sound system was great for the Karma lounge area. Massive bass = WIN.

I can remember that Totr0x played one song that had a killer wobble bass. It felt like my heart is going to stop beating. I felt sick, but man... it was good experience. I was in the twilight zone. HA.

Genki played very good set with fast paced dnb and some dirty house sounds. Everything worked for the audience. Fixsaatio spring break will be remembered. Thanks to the organizers.

Once again. It is the April fools day, but it doesn't feel like it. I am still waiting for the big news that fools everybody. Anyway, forget about it.

Oh noes. Southern Ostrobothnia and the city of Seinäjoki are getting the drum&bass / dubstep treatment tomorrow. It is the classic Club Fixsaatio event at the Ravintola Karma. I haven't heard dnb or dubstep for a while at the city of Seinäjoki, so this will be great. Looking forward to this.

Cameras

What's going on? Not much, but still something.

Few days ago I had to film the opening ceremony for the new Kauhajoki school center. I had three HD-cameras with me, because I planned the whole thing to be filmed with that way. One camera was Panasonic AVCHD-cam and two were Sony HDV. Funny thing was that I operated single handedly all three cameras. Well, not simultaneously. The opening ceremony was two hour session so timing was everything. Few quick tape changes, fast camera movements and voila! I was very happy with my work, but I shall see what kinds of problems will come to my way when editing all that material. AVCHD material can be a bit tricky to handle when the editing suite is Avid Media Composer.

This project shall be my very last in my school because I am planning to graduate/retire from there at the end of May. Let the good times roll. Just less than two months and I still no plans for the future. Well, some but let them come when the time is right.

Are we going to get another meltdown? Hope not.

Summer is coming and the heat is on. The worst part is that the streets are going to get dusty and I should get my gas mask on. Otherwise those boogers will be the size of your door knob.

Well well. Long time no text. I have been busy doing and going. So, what's been going on, what's the news? Back in December I finished my video project. All right! It was a long project but now it is done! The video was released at the Provinssirock website on the 25th of December 2010. I think i can pull the direct link to the video... yes. CLICK HERE! The video is 10 minutes long. So enjoy it.

My previous dj gig was on the 5th of December 2010 at the Culture Club Still Standing. It was the pre party for the Independence Day. The event was a killer. The whole place was packed and the mood was excellent.

For now I haven't done dj gigs because I have been doing my second practical training so I can finish my media management studies. At the same time I need to write my thesis text also. I also really would like have the time to do my drum & bass mix tape and gigs, but no. I have two months left and then I should get outta school. Will see what happens?

Don't know where I’ll be after the graduation? But one thing will remain. Tables will turn. Ha-ha. Be back soon.

It's been more than few weeks since my last post. Absolutely nothing has happened. Nothing but the autumn has officially landed to the Finnish landscape. It is the time of muddy roads, falling leafs and coldness. Wanna catch cold and get sick, well this is the perfect time for that. (aayes, just listening the bassoradio and the morning show is playing Röyksopp - Sparks. GOOOOOOOOOOOOD MORNING!) Little off topic there, but that is just a good thing.

Oh yeh, I had couple dj gigs few weeks back. First was at the Still Standing and the gig was really good. We were jamming to nu-disco, funky house and drum&bass tunes during the late night hours. It was a good gig even I had to stand 6 hours straight behind the turntables.

Second gig was also at the city of Seinäjoki, at the Student union Samos season opener, which was at the Rytmikorjaamo, thank god it was indoors because it was pouring rain outside. Two hours of party music, well my definition of party music is drum&bass, breaks, beats, funky house and grooving melodies. The place was packed and it was funny to watch the new students to get really wasted. Welcome to the SeAMK. Drink up. While spinning records I heard again those awful song requests, like "could you play something familiar music that I could dance to?” Well... even that person was raving to the London Electricity - All Hell Is Breaking Loose, the song request was that "familiar music", doh.. Well, yes sir I can play something familiar, but it won't be anything near to those TOP40 songs. So, I played the song made by the mighty Logistics - Raygun. Dance to that beat.

I have been sitting inside the large cubicle for this month and I will continue to sit here at least for three more months. It is the video editing process that takes my time and forces me to sit in the room that is filled with MACS. Hello Mac, and how are you doing today? Are going to work properly, like your reputation says? Sudden program crashes now and then. With 15+ years experience on the Windows platform, it is hard to suddenly change to Mac. Well, yes i know what you are going to say and I am sorry to inform that within these longitudes and latitudes MACS have not been very popular for loooong time. But, now they are conquering these parts of the country. Whatever works, man.... like the classic Windows 3.11 and DOS interface, you know man…

At this moment I am thinking about the freedom of getting away from school work. I bet that something interesting happens and it won't let go. Soon, very soon the time will eventually come. I still don't know what to do even my studies are complete. Maybe something that lets me to relax sometimes and won't bother me after work time.... Well, time will tell.

Why, do you feel that if you don't have Facebook account, you don't exist and you are nobody? It was just the same thing with MySpace back in the days when it was the hot stuff.

This summer has been different. Hot summer days but past this week there have been massive storms. Times are changing man, where's the love man? Man..... whoa man, Woodstock 69! Where is this going, I don't know.

Well, how was your summer? School days are returning next week. I need to finish the last video editing project by the end of this year, so I have few months of quality time with editing softwares. I don't know how much time I will have for dj:ing and music, but it is better to get things done.

Here is some good stuff about the apple and htc battle. As you might have heard that apple's massive reputation has crumbled like a cookie due that WhyPhone4 antenna problem. Like that video posted here explains, there are excellent options for WhyPhone. No WhyPhone for me, at this moment i don't need fancy 3G phones with all those applications. Too much restrictions and blocks. Soon everybody will be surveillanced by those companies. This starts to sound future stuff, but maybe this will happen sooner or later.

Days go by pretty fast. Now i have had the time to concentrate on one thing only, to finish my studies. Well, I still got the final and the fourth year, and then it is over. Let's see how long that takes to complete. What then, i really don't know. Maybe something cool and different. I can't answer that, because it can wait.

Just read an old article about how "Watching television can shorten your life". During that research, there where couple hundred deaths and all that crap. TV is bad, yes, it has always been that. The "oldest crap" that still is on the TV screens, started back in 1965 and it is the "Days of Our Lives". "Like sands through the hourglass... so are the Days of Our Lives." Say what?

I don't have TV at my place. I don't need one. Why not? I don't know, it is just a electrical box at the corner of your room. Sure, there is good stuff, like the Fifa World Cup 2010. But is it really a necessary evil to have?

So, if there wouldn't be TVs to watch, would the average lifespan be something like 120 years. If you subtract the alcohol and smoking, you could live like 100 years. Enough of that. Now the 3D TVS are coming and I still haven't even watched any blu-ray movies. Nowadays it is way too high-tech. I like to watch the world with my own 3D stereoscopic view, I mean with my eyes! There you go; your eyes are your very own 3D spectrum.

7th month of the year. It is time for the Almost Forgotten Tunes™ once again. Here are the three tracks to enjoy. Something different, something cool for the summer days.

Classics IV - Spooky. The year is 1968, something like that. I don't know much of this band, but the track is good for your summer bebobbing activities.

Lee Marvin - Wandering Star. Uh-oh, it is the Major from the Dirty Dozen and he is singing and dancing. No, this is the theme for the Paint Your Wagon. Lee's low bassy voice is the best about this song. The "man chorus" does well, but the marching ant section is little bit too much. Overall, this is the find of a decade. No, this is the find of the century!

Harry Nilsson - Everybody's Talkin'. This is ultimate song for those who travel by buses. Released back in 1969, but it still sounds good. Man, it was 69 and it was crazy, man.

The land of the midnight sun.

Today is the day of the midnight sun, in Finnish it is called "the Juhannus". The day when the Finnish nation will drink whole day and fires up their grills. It is the day of festivals and alcohol. But there is always the next day and the tomorrow the Finnish nation will rest.

About the land of the midnight sun. I remember when i was at the Pori Jazz festival, back on 19th of July and the year was 2003. On that day there was Jamiroquai. Man, it was the best gig ever. Jay Kay praised the land of the midnight sun, he really enjoyed that the sun was shining all night. It was a good day, if i could go back in time, if would make a detour and stop by that gig.

On the 20th of June at the Still Standing, there was a suprise dj sunday. Lumo dj's had planned a nice Provinssirock afterparty. Of course i was there too. We had the turntables outside, next to the porch or the patio.. whaddya wanna call it. It was a good set with four dj's. Funky house, chills, dubstep and drum&bass. We had good time. There might be more of this soon.

This is a good day to move on with the Almost Forgotten Tunes™ -listing. I have posted too many house/dance tracks here and now it is time for some italo and disco music. Here are the tracks.

Change - Hold Tight. Smooth beat and funky guitars. Here is a track that you can dance to, but this works fine if you wanna relax. This song doesn't have a big elements but.. man this works.

Narada Michael Walden - I Shoulda Loved Ya. Great thing about these disco songs is that they last about 6-7 minutes. With the extended version, you can dance about 10 minutes. Here Walden puts his boogie shoes on for 6 minutes. With the help of good sounds from the sax, guitar and bass this song gets my points. Get your clap on!

The Brothers Johnson - Stomp. Everybody get to the top.. Stomp, allright! Brothers gonna make it work. Disco was all about having good time and to dance with your friends. Here is a perfect song to have fun. Great bassline on the breakdown and the funky guitar solo puts the mood to the groove.

Sunny weather for today. Looking good. Maybe i will go for a country side bicycle ride and just listen the ambient of the nature. As you already know, it is the Juhannus and the people is already started to drink. So, the street will be empty. This post has been relaxing one with the disco songs.

Summer music festivals are in full effect. Provinssirock starts today. It is the 32nd time for the Provinssirock. Seinäjoki is the place to be. Well, there are few interesting artists to check out with the support of the local forces and the Finnish sounds. Good thing about the Provinssirock is the surroundings and the nature around the festival area. What would be better than put rock festival in the woods? Man vs. Nature! Weather forecast has predicted rainy weather but it might change? Get your raincoats!

Football is the word of the summer, no; the buzzing vuvuzelas are the instruments of this summer. Soon they will be forgotten and everybody around the world will have two or three of these vuvuzelas at their house. Trashcans will be filled with these things.

BBC and the Finnish Broadcasting Company have desperately tried to filter out the vuvuzela buzz. Some of the sounds have been filtered out so you can hear the ambient of the game, like kicks and shouts. Here is some info for the common man how to filter out the buzz. If you don't want to filter the buzz and fuzz, you will get used to it pretty fast.

Straight to the point. Here are once again three songs from my Almost Forgotten Tunes™ -listing. I shall continue with cool house/dance tracks.

Bob Marley vs Funkstar Deluxe - Sun Is Shining. The best remix of the original song. The video has some cool moments but the fancy boat, cars and all that really doesn't work here. Anyway, this is still a good song after all these years.

Daft Punk - Revolution 909. French duo has always made cool tunes and with this song it is no exception. This link doesn't have video but you can check it you here. It is all about tomatoes. Brings back memories, not on cooking front but good times and music.

Armand Van Helden - Full Moon feat. Common. Move ya feet, here is the dancefloor filler. This song is 10 years old, but it still works nicely. Video is regular Armand stuff, but hey, he has to look cool and the girls need to party also.

Past few weeks i have gotten in to a dance/house track with my AFT™ -listing. I think i should do other styles too. Yep, some disco, dnb and pop classics. Well, now it is summer. The tv is playing only old stuff and reruns. Djs are on summer break so nothing new hasn't come up. I will rest now and spend my time wisely.

School days are over. Summer vacation. How cool is that. Still no summer job. No worries. All good.

Looks like that the Facebook (Façadebook) is going down slowly. All the weird security changes and privacy things are just spinning the crap out of it. Got to say that things have looked bad for a long time but I still have kept my account there. Facadebook is good way to track events and all the happenings. That is the only positive side of the whole service. Everything else is just plain crap. Like your farmville and all other villes that millions do play when they are at school. Maybe it will be my time too to close my account for good. Here is some info about deleting your account from Facebook.

Last week I started my Almost Forgotten Tunes™ -listing for this summer. Why AFT, well sometimes it is good to look back and listen those great songs from the good ol' days. Last time my listing had three dance/house tracks. Here are this week’s three choices.

Armand Van Helden - You Don't Know Me. Classic song from Armand Van Helden. This song is from 1999 and it sounds excellent. Armand has lots of good songs from 1990's but this really stands out. Nice one!

Campaus - People. Finnish band/artist Campaus is almost forgotten, but with the help of these listings it can be heard again. People -song has a nice vibe and the video is great. Couple of jokes and the tempo of the video is good. Good track for summer midnight dances.

Superfunk - Lucky Star feat. Ron Carroll. Hear the sample from Josephine, the song originally played by the one and only Chris Rea. Sample fits to this track like dollars in your wallet. Big Muff. This is also a vocal song and Ron does the singing pretty good. The main thing about this track is that it has a feel good video. This video is excellent example how good video can make the song even better. Nowadays videos don’t make its value any bigger. But this really does.

With this kind of speed with my Almost Forgotten Tunes™ -listing, i won't be having any classics left to list when the summer is ending. No, of course there will be some tracks, there always is. We’ll see that at the end of the summer.

Like every year, everybody blames the coach. You're fired! (Impersonating Trump). Hockey games are over, no more flying Finns. I don't care which team wins but every game deserves some drama and action. Just like the game last night where team Germany and that other team ended the game with massive fight. No need to watch those anymore.

Hotness continued all this week. Now it feels like that the summer is here. Like every year, the hotness is followed by the coldness. It is a good thing to have a little chilly weather because I haven't got much sleep during the night time. I wouldn't call night time, because sun still shines at 0400 hours and it is almost +20C. It is day time all day long. What's the deal with these midsummer nights?

Yesterday the video editing crossed the finish line. The documentary film is complete. Let me fill you in. Let's begin. Month ago me and my school buddies started to plan and film a documentary film. The project is called Still Standing. Yes, it is a document about the Culture Club Still Standing, here in the city of Seinäjoki. This is a school project and like always, we don't get paid for the long hours. Yep. During these 4-5 weeks we had filmed about 6 hours of material. The main thing for this project was to have as much fun as possible. No need to rush, but just take your time the project. Now the film is complete. It might have once in a lifetime screening somewhere in near future. I don't know, i will let you know when the time is coming. The massive dj sunday evening is coming on the 30th of May. Still Standing is the place to be, like always.

I have been digging some good old summer sounds from the good ol' days, rewind 10-12 years back. Back then you could hear hits from Modjo, Superfunk, Stardust, Armand Van Helden, Phats & Small, Cassius, Daft Punk and so on. Some of these guys are still in the music business, but the tracks are great. Couple of salty tracks from the past. I will post few tracks at the time. Let's begin.

Stardust - Music sounds better with you. This song is still my favourite dance/house track. It still sounds good even it is from 1998. Thomas Bangalter, Alan Braxe and vocalist Benjamin Diamond got this one right. The video is good companion to the track and it also has some good editing choices. It still works.

Modjo - Chillin'. Too bad that this group released only one album. Don't worry; the album is full of hits. Even it is vocal song it really works in every way. Chic sample works and sounds nice. The video has good feeling and it makes me want to go bowl. Chillin!

Cassius - 1999. Now here is a good video that is full of graphical editing and coolness. I got this track back to my playlist couple of days ago and it turned to be the same great song, just like back in 1999.

I will return next time with more tracks from the past. Maybe there will be few drum & bass tracks also.

Got to mention. Hospital Records announced few days ago that Netskys debut album will be in stores soon. CD will be released on the 31th of May and the 4xLP will be out little later. This is a must have. Netsky is bringing the sounds of the 2010.

It is warm, indeed! It is a good day to spend your time indoors while working and doing something like video editing. Looks that way that it is the way for this afternoon. No way man, the sun and the warm weather is something that i have been waiting for a long time.

Couple days ago I was the Seinäjoen Yö (I like to call it Seinäjoki Boogie Nights) culture day/event. Street'n'Beat was great. Beats were pumping and the mood was nice. I finally got the chance to try out the DJ HERO -the video game. Back in the days, there was lots of hype for this game, but it turned to be a little disappointing. It is not the real thing, but it can be fun. The crossfader was a little wonky but did the job. There is no need to try this again because I like to scratch with real records. Anyway... The local hip-hop artists had good a performances. Looks like the hip-hop scene is slowly rising in the city of Seinäjoki.

Later that evening when the SNB was over, I headed to the city to check what was happening. Of course i had to watch the ice hockey game first at my friends place. Hahaa, lots of drama but the Finns did the job well. USA was pushing hard but the game was ours. The commentator was on flames like always. Yes, back to the point. When the game was over we headed to the city and everybody was on the move. Everybody was drunk, driving around the city center, arguing about stupid things and breaking bottles. It was the night of culture. We searched for place to go but there wasn't space. Waiting lines were way too long for us so we decided to head out of the city center.

We found a perfect place to spend the rest of the evening. Can’t give the name of the place, but it is great. The place had a cinematic feeling, just like the beginning of the Reservoir Dogs.

The rest of the evening was full of dance moves and fun times. It was nice to walk back home at 0415 hours, it was morning and the sun was just rising. Now that was a good day. The tune for the mornings like that could be this. Listen the tune.

What next? Well, the next dj gig is on the 30th of May at Still Standing. It is the tribute to all Sunday djs. There will be 7-10 djs spinning records back to back. Lots of different music styles. Really looking for this one.

So, the day turned to the 1st of May. The day when the people will rest, others will rise again and some will keep on going for whole weekend. This is the day of drinking songs, massive protests, hangover and doing it all again.

The student picnic was yesterday. Little rain but i didn't matter. Dubstep, drum&bass, house, hiphop, beats. Something for everyone. It was great to play outdoors.

Maybe i will go out for a walk and check what is going on at the center of the Seinäjoki city. That embedded video is for all the headz out there. Good tune for chillin and walkin around the city limits.

Ou! The sun is shining a little bit. Gotta go outside.

Where Did The Night Fall

Just got mail from Unkle and it is the last chance to pre-order Deluxe Edition of the new album. Where Did The Night Fall is the name of the new Unkle album and it will be released on 10 May in the UK and Europe and 11 May in North America. I have ordered my copy. Waiting for those items to arrive. No rush guys.

Woke up this morning at 0700 hours and the weather outside was cold, wet, depressing.... you name it. It suppose to be the "VAPPU", the workers holiday. Sunshine, good music, friends and nice picnic. Some of those things won't come true. Today i should play records at vappu picnic which is arranged by the Seinäjoki student union Samo. Past years the weather has been excellent. Lots of sunshine. Not today. Or, the weather might change? Well, i dunno. At least there won't be any problem of getting sleep later today, due early wake up call. 98% of the Finnish people will rest tomorrow, not me. You know the deal.

Street'n'Beat will be the next event where the Aerostat Djs will be rockin' the tables. 12th of May is the date and the place is skateboard warehouse Stache1 at the city of Seinäjoki. More information can be found from the Street'n'Beat Facebook event.

Aayea. Sick Music 2 is out now. 12" Samplers, 4xLP, MP3 and CD. Gotta get them all. Cyantific - Hong Kong Express is the block rocker. That song really does it. If i receive my copy today, i will play some of these songs at the Samo picnic. Damn right. The summer compilation is OUT! Stay tuned for more Hospital Records -releases this summer. Netsky's first LP is coming and that will be something to wait for!

Yeahs. Last night i was hanging at the Culture Club Still Standing. There was the opening night for the Lähtöruutuja - art exhibition. Wuokkos art is excellent, got to say that. The mood was great, the band called Stuffiinas was the best. Electric sounds at the end were outta space. Ah man, it was good.

I will be dj:ing this sunday, 18th of April, at the Culture Club Still Standing, every dj sunday event. Wuokkos art exhibition continues and this dj event is connected to the opening weekend. Beats, trip-hop, lounge, dub, downtempo, electronics and of course something to dance to. Well, see you there. Wuokko mentioned that there could be suprises. Cannot wait for those.

Next gig will be on the 30th of April. The date means that the "VAPPU" is on! Student union Samo is going to arrange a student picnic/party at the city of Seinäjoki and to be exact the event will be at the "lakeuden puisto" or central park, between the white wizards tower and Still Standing.

One Aerostat Sounds gig is also coming. The gig will be at the Seinäkuun yö or in english (The Seinäjoki boogie night) on the 12th of May. The event is called Street'n'Beat. The event is more hiphop oriented, but the event is still in planning and constructing stage, so we will see what happens.

These past weeks i have been waiting for new Hospital Sick Music 2 compilation. Soon it will be released. Thank god for those Hospital Podcasts. New podcast 112 is out. Netskys new song called Iron Heart really kicks butt. Got to listen the whole podcast again, because it is full of excellent songs and Netsky interview.

Lots of things happening. Like Biz Markie have rapped back in the days - It is spring again, with that good ol' biz sound.

This is the day that all them wizards are awake. Everybody will be eating candy, chocolate and that black stuff called "mämmi", you can call it what every you want. It is good, but i wouldn't eat it on a daily basis. It is a nice holiday to have once a year. MÄMMI! ...right. Oh yea, and the whole southern ostrobothnia will be on flames tonight, the black smoke will rise once again due the all the stuff that are burning at the fires. Back in the days everybody was burning their car tires, wood, plastic, scrap and etc. What a fast way to get rid of your most beloved things. Those where the good ol' days. hahah

It is getting warmer every day. Soon everybody will be heading out to the bar patios, porches or whaddaya wanna call them. That is summer excersising at best. It is not the time for me to jump in. Not yet, maybe at the 30th of April, when the "Vappu" is on. Talk about it later.

The new hospital podcast is out! Man, those Sick Music 2 tracks are kicking some ass. Sonics new song is a massive tune. Don't forget the Slap Chop by Reso. Dubstep producer is kicking it dnb style.

Waiting for the weird news and topics around the world. Yes, looks like the April fool's day is here. You can refresh your memory with the top 100 April fool's hoaxes. Well, isn't that funny. Hardy har har. Great.

So, new month & new stuff.
Gotta mention that on the 18th of April at the Still Standing Culture Club, i will be playing records once again. The sunday dj event will contain trip hop, beats, downtempo, lounge. At this point music styles will be centered more on the relaxing side. But, of course there will be faster beats and sounds, like drum & bass. We will see how thing will progress. Anyway, the sunday dj event is linked to the artwork/paiting exhibition. More info later.

Looks like that this month is full with new music releases. They just keep on coming, no problem there. I like it a lot, yees.

What's next?

Spring and summer are approaching. At this point it doesn't look too good. Summerjob would be great, i could use the money. But if there isn't anything for me, well, bollocks i say. I will be administrating my thesis during the "summer vacation". Got to keep up the ideas and prepare for the post-production. The clock is ticking.

Right now i am at the crossroads with my music and records. I can't maintain three different music styles/genres because it takes way too much money. There is always another dj who plays those genres. My favourites are downtempo/beats and drum & bass. Of course there are electronic and pop music but i don't collect them. The few records that i do have are in my vault. They are way too expensive and limited to be played at the dj events. I like to enjoy them by my self.

Thought of buying a CDJ player, which mean a cd-player for dj. Maybe less expensive Pioneer CDJ. Well, i don't know. I am a vinyl dj, but some of the drum & bass releases are released only on the cd records. To get the cdj or not to get. Save money and space, yes thank you.

Maybe, soon i will make the nessesary changes.

It was a great evening at the Karma.
Thanks to all the people who were there. The mood was great and people were dancing on the floor. It was a red mist indeed. :D

No school for 2 weeks. What to do?
Website project is the name of the game. 12 hours in a day with the lovely HTML,CSS and PHP. What a great way to spend your holidays. Yes it is.. and it is great to do something else besides sit at school and whine about the basics.

When the website project is ready, i am going to rewind everything and just relax. Or i am going have a major breakdown. Well, we shall see about that.

Boogie blast is officially on hold for a while, but i think it will be back soon. Boogie Blast I, II and III were kind of a launch for the new beginning for the Seinäjoki music scene. Well, we will see what happens next. Of course, the Aerostat Sounds is the next big event for the Seinäjoki drum and bass, psytrance and dubstep music styles. See you there on the 24th of March.

Adidas and Lucasarts have made some cool sneakers. These bad boys are not made for your every day dirty city streets walking. Here are only three different designs but not to worry, there is many designs still to look for. Cool shoes but i still prefer the original Superstar II.

Previous boogie nights have been great, big thanks to the people! It is great to have something different, like music events here in the city of Seinäjoki. I have been looking for the times to change. Slow progress of course, but no rush.

I got to give thanks to the Still Standing / Momocat and Fixsaatio for example, for making great music events for the people.

Something is in the air, i'll let you know soon.
